Winez ("we", "us") is a personal AI-native wine cellar app. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how to remove it.

What we collect

  • Account info — your email address and any OAuth profile fields, managed by our authentication provider Clerk.
  • Cellar data — bottles, tasting notes, cellar layout photos, and any text or labels you enter or capture.
  • Photos — bottle labels and cellar photos you upload are stored privately in Vercel Blob storage; only you can access them.
  • Device push tokens (mobile app only) — used solely to send notifications you opt into.
  • Usage logs — minimal request logs from Vercel for reliability and abuse prevention. Not used for tracking or advertising.

How we use it

Your data is used only to operate the app for you: to display your cellar, generate AI sommelier responses (which may send relevant bottle context to Anthropic's, OpenAI's and TypeSafe's APIs), and to improve search and recommendations. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train third-party models.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
